Troy Charbonnet’s editing is rooted in rhythm, emotion, and a deep respect for the story. His work blends bold, stylized choices with an invisible editorial touch, guided by intuition and a commitment to cutting with feeling first.

Troy’s portfolio includes collaborations with Apple, Spotify, Mercedes-Benz, Adidas, and Nike, as well as music-driven projects for artists such as Silk Sonic, earning the MTV VMA for Best Editing for Leave the Door Open, and Harry Styles, Love On Tour, Forever. Additional collaborations span Sabrina Carpenter, Ms. Lauryn Hill, P!nk, and Tate McRae.

Originally from Irvine, California, Troy began editing as a kid, making homemade music videos and stop-motion films, and later earned his BFA in Film Production from Chapman University. He joins Modern Post, drawn to its culture of innovation, collaboration, and craft-forward storytelling, to continue to chase the moment when emotion, pacing, and picture lock perfectly into place.
